What is the Honeymoon Gift Registry?
We
give wedding couples a way to register their entire honeymoon online.
It works just like a wedding registry. The wedding couple wants to have
parts of their honeymoon experience as wedding gifts. Instead of buying
them a crock-pot you can choose a "Sunset Cruise" or instead of a
toaster oven, you can give them part of their "Nights Stay on the
honeymoon." Mitch and Kim has listed their 'Honeymoon Wishes' and
costs of each experience for their friends and family to purchase as a
wedding gift.
Why should I purchase a gift from this registry?
You
should use this registry to purchase a unique gift that will help Mitch and Kim have the honeymoon of their dreams. Wedding couples chose a
honeymoon registry for different reasons. Some have already lived
together and have the household items they need. Others are hoping that
guests will give them experiences they could not otherwise afford,
making for experiences and memories that will last a lifetime. While
some are looking to pre-plan special adventures and room upgrades on
their honeymoon. They have chosen to use this registry so that they know
ahead of time how much they can spend on their trip and contact us to make arrangements.
Why do you have a total price and a number of gifts price?
The amount needed for the whole gift for Mitch and Kim is the Total Price. The Number of Gifts Price is the total broken up into smaller increments.
Example:
"Snorkel and Wildlife Catamaran Cruise" lists 4 gifts in the amount of $65.00
each. This means the whole upgrade will cost $260.00. However, the
wedding couple does not expect anyone to buy them a gift for $260.00 and
feels more comfortable breaking it down into smaller increments. The
couple wants to upgrade anyway and feel that any part of the upgrade
given to them would be a wonderful gift since this allows them to plan
ahead. The "Still Need" category means that this amount is still
available to purchase to meet the Total Price.
Why not just give them money at the wedding?
This
registry service allows you to give something that the couple really
wants and will cherish forever - you will be remembered for taking the
time to pick a personalized experience! Receiving envelopes of checks
the day before they leave for their honeymoon may not allow them to
pre-plan for their trip or have these gifts available on the trip.
Checks may be deposited, but not available until after their departure.
