Honeymoon Registry
First off, what is a Honeymoon Registry? It is a way for couples to register their entire honeymoon online. It works just like a wedding registry. The wedding couple wants to have parts of their honeymoon experience as wedding gifts. Instead of buying them a crock-pot you can choose a "Sunset Cruise" or instead of a toaster oven, you can give them part of their "Nights Stay on the Honeymoon." The wedding couple has listed their "Honeymoon Wishes" and costs of each experience for their friends and family to purchase as a wedding gift. In lieu of physical gifts, they are asking their friends and family to help them make their honeymoon more magical and special. Mitch and Kim are honeymooning in Hawaii and while they have already booked it, you can help them in many ways.
Mitch and Kim's Travel Agency, Wish Upon A Star Travel, has arranged the hotel, airfare, and some of the activities already, and they have paid a deposit. There are some activities they would still like to do if they are able. You can contact Wish Upon A Star Travel directly and they can help you plan your wedding gift. They will supply you a certificate that you can give Mitch and Kim reflecting your gift on their wedding day. Here are some of the ways you can give them a gift:
- Pay a portion of their honeymoon balance
- Arrange an activity on a free day not yet booked
- Arrange to pay for an activity already booked
- Arrange a Spa Treatment
- Arrange a Resort Credit
You can contact Kevin Johnston at Wish Upon A Star Travel via e-mail or 559.759.9492 and he can help you arrange your gift.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Honeymoon Gift Registry?
Why should I purchase a gift from this registry?
Why do you have a total price and a number of gifts price?
Example: "Snorkel and Wildlife Catamaran Cruise" lists 4 gifts in the amount of $65.00 each. This means the whole upgrade will cost $260.00. However, the wedding couple does not expect anyone to buy them a gift for $260.00 and feels more comfortable breaking it down into smaller increments. The couple wants to upgrade anyway and feel that any part of the upgrade given to them would be a wonderful gift since this allows them to plan ahead. The "Still Need" category means that this amount is still available to purchase to meet the Total Price.
Why not just give them money at the wedding?
I'm not computer savvy; can you help me with the purchase?
Do you store my personal or credit card information?
Does the wedding couple have a way to see what I have purchased?
